Industrial safety was discussed at the forum. Vadim Golovko, Deputy Plenipotent Representative of the President of Russia in the Siberian Federal District, would like to find out what prevents exhibitors from improving coal extraction. First of all, need for altering laws and regulations to prevent methane explosions in the coal mines was mentioned.

Other issues mentioned by Vadim Golovko included personnel as well as mining effectiveness and efficiency. He also spoke on concerns of monoindustrial towns.

‘I must remember monoindustrial towns as they are numerous in the Siberian Federal District. The special Federal Program aims to create new jobs, attract investors, and form economic conditions in the monoindustrial towns. There are about 60 of them in the Siberian Federal District,’ stated Vadim Golovko.

The program is now implemented both federally and regionally.
